Istanbul is a transcontinental city in Eurasia, straddling the Bosphorus strait between the Sea of Marmara and the Black Sea. Its commercial and historical center lies on the European side and about a third of its population lives on the Asian side.
I visited Istanbul during my cruise trip around the Mediterranean Sea. I was impressed by this city because its beauty and its colture.
We visited a lot of things here, the Basilica Cistern, Aya Sofia and the Blue Mosque.

Basilica Cistern
In the Mosque all the women had to wear something to cover our head and legs to respect all the believers inside the Mosque.

We also had the opportunity to try some of the local food which was very delicious!
I am really grateful to had the opportunity to visit such a beautiful city and can’t wait to visit it again to discover new places and food!
